Signature of the Memorandum of Understanding between Stellantis and the Israel Innovation Authority with the aim of establishing cooperation in technological innovation

Under the agreement signed between Stellantis Group, one of the world’s leading automakers, and the Israel Innovation Authority, the governmental agency responsible for Israel’s innovation policy, FCA Italy, wholly owned subsidiary of Stellantis, will develop sustainable mobility solutions in collaboration with Israeli start-ups. The Innovation Authority will support Stellantis in identifying technological innovations that fall within its sphere of activities and will finance their development, while FCA Italy will support the startups’ scaling-up, R&D, marketing and other global activities.

Stellantis joins other Italian companies such as ENEL and STMicroelectronics, that opened innovation labs in Israel, as well as Sparkle, SNAM and ADLER that signed agreements with the Israel Innovation Authority aimed at establishing and enhancing industrial partnerships with Israeli startups in the high-tech sector.

"Italy has re-confirmed itself as a privileged partner for Israel", declared the Ambassador of Italy to Israel, Gianluigi Benedetti. “Our large companies can find here a fertile soil for launching R&D projects and our manufacturing system is a natural point of attraction for Israeli companies that intend to grow, industrialize their products and enter the global market”.
