75 years of the Italian Republic: the initiatives of the Embassy of Italy

In these weeks Italy is at the front row in Israel with a wide range of top-level initiatives in the cultural, tourism and promotion of "Made in Italy" sectors organized by the Embassy of Italy, ​​the Italian Cultural Institute and the ENIT Office on the occasion of the celebration of Italy's National Day.

Last Saturday, Maestro Francesco Meli, first tenor of La Scala in Milan, was applauded by over 1200 spectators at the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv. Great success also for the exhibition "Visiting Master: Amedeo Modigliani among friends", organized at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art thanks to the extraordinary loan of the portrait of "Anna Zborowska" by the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome.

Then “Yesh! Italy",  a rich calendar of activities, broadcasted live on the" BeItalia "Facebook pages, aimed at promoting Italian territories, with their history, culture, food and wine, unique in the world for quality and variety.

Finally, tonight, in the presence of the Minister of Energy Steinitz and other representatives of Israeli institutions, Made in Italy will once again be at the center of the traditional reception for the Republic Day in the garden of the Ambassador of Italy's residence.

"All initiatives", stated Ambassador Gianluigi Benedetti, "have a great communicative impact. Our goal is to relaunch the image, culture, style and the best Italian prducts to the Israeli public - always a great fan of the "Bel Paese" - and trade and tourism, after fourteen months of difficult and painful fight against the pandemic".
