1. PARTICIPATION IN ADMISSION TESTS IN ITALY

In light of the current emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the necessary restrictions on public access to the Embassy, students who must take the admission tests in Italy and registered on UNIVERSITALY.IT will receive from this Embassy a "Consular Declaration" to facilitate their entry into the country in the next few days by email.

We highly recommended that you take this "Consular Declaration" with you and submit it to the border authorities.

2. ISSUE OF VISAS FOR STUDY REASONS

Applications for study visas for "university enrollment" (type D "national") can only be processed after passing the admission test, where required by the University, and until November 30.

After taking the admission test in Italy, students must therefore return to Israel to obtain the necessary study visa.

3. REGULATIONS RELATING TO ENTRY AND STAY IN ITALY

Upon arrival in Italy, the student must sign a "Declaration for the purpose of entry" with which, even if asymptomatic, he undertakes to immediately go into Fiduciary Quarantine for a period of fourteen days, communicating his location to the Prevention Department of the competent local Health Authority. This provision does not apply if the stay in Italy does not exceed 120 hours (5 days).

The legislation governing entry into Italy is constantly evolving and is periodically updated based on the trend of the epidemiological situation in Italy and abroad. It is therefore recommended that it be consulted constantly through the information available at this link.

4. ISSUE OF "DECLARATIONS OF VALUE"

Students who have completed the pre-enrollment and registration for the admission exam on the UNIVERSITALY.IT portal and who require the issue of the "Declaration of value", must deliver (only from Monday to Friday), in a sealed envelope to be posted in the post box positioned outside the Embassy, on the 21st floor, the following documents:

  • "Bagrut" with translation and Apostille of the Israeli Foreign Ministry;
  • Copy of their passport;
  • Copy of the registration at the Italian University;
  • Personal contacts (telephone, email, address).

For the withdrawal of the "Declaration of value”, it will be possible to include a pre-franked envelope with the return address. Alternatively, the student will be contacted to collect the document in person at the Embassy.
