Dear friends,
today we celebrate the 74th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Italy and the State of Israel.
Building on our shared cultural roots and common values, we have been able to build over the years a solid partnership between our Countries and a true friendship between our peoples, also thanks to the great contribution of the Italian Jewish communities.
At the Italian Embassy we are committed to further deepen our bilateral relations in all fields of cooperation, ranging from the political and military sector, to trade, science, industry, technology and culture.
And as we look back at the joint achievements that have enriched our common path throughout the last 74 years, we look forward to creating new opportunities of cooperation and tackling common challenges together to build a safe, peaceful and prosperous future for our peoples.
Over the last 74 years we did a lot of our journey together. And I am sure there is still a long way to go.
Our past provides the fuel for our dreams, our dreams can be the projects for our future.
