{"id":1769,"date":"2021-02-25T09:36:18","date_gmt":"2021-02-25T06:36:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambtelaviv.esteri.it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2021\/02\/proroga-di-validita-delle-patenti-2\/"},"modified":"2021-02-25T09:36:18","modified_gmt":"2021-02-25T06:36:18","slug":"proroga-di-validita-delle-patenti-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambtelaviv.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2021\/02\/proroga-di-validita-delle-patenti-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Extension of validity of Italian driving licenses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Extension of validity of Italian driving licenses<\/p>\n<p>The Embassy of Italy announces that, in accordance with the legislation most recently adopted concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, the validity of driving licenses (for circulation in Italy) has been extended as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 For licenses with an original expiry date between 01\/31\/2020 and 12\/29\/2020, the validity is extended to 10\/29\/2021;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 For licenses with original expiration between 30\/12\/2020 and 30\/06\/2021, the validity has been extended to 10 months from the date of the original expiry;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 For licenses with an original expiry date between 01\/07\/2021 and 31\/07\/2021, the expiry is extended to 29\/10\/2021.<\/p>\n<p>Please note also that, according to art. 2, paragraph 1, of the D.L.
