{"id":1811,"date":"2021-01-12T13:03:16","date_gmt":"2021-01-12T10:03:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambtelaviv.esteri.it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2021\/01\/avviso-proroga-permessi-di-soggiorno-2\/"},"modified":"2021-01-12T13:03:16","modified_gmt":"2021-01-12T10:03:16","slug":"avviso-proroga-permessi-di-soggiorno-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambtelaviv.esteri.it\/it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2021\/01\/avviso-proroga-permessi-di-soggiorno-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Extension of validity of residency permits in Italy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">In application of the Decree of April 30th, 2021, n. 159 the validity of the residency permits (\u201cPermessi di soggiorno\u201d) expired or expiring after 31\/01\/2020 has been extended until 31\/07\/2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Please find below are the rules currently in force for the re-entry in Italy of holders of expired residence permits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Return to Italy by direct flight (without stopover). The return to Italy will be allowed without a re-entry visa and\/or consular accompanying notes.<\/li>\n<li>Return to Italy by flight connections with stopover in Schengen countries. In the case of non direct flights that involve entry in Schengen Area through a Member State other than Italy, the return to the national territory will be allowed also with a re-entry visa that can be issued by the Embassy.<\/li>\n<li>Return to Italy by flight connection with stopover in non-Schengen countries.
