The Italian Ministry of Health established that, starting from June 21 2021, the certificates of vaccination, recovery and COVID negativity (PCR) issued by Israeli authorities will be considered equivalent to the Italian certificate for the purposes of entry into Italy.
Therefore, anyone entering Italy from Israel must present to the airline company only one of the aforementioned certificates at the time of boarding. If the certificate of a molecular or antigenic swab is presented, this must have been carried out within 48 hours before entering Italy.
Travelers flying to Italy will have to fill in the European “Passenger Locator Form” online.
According to Italian law, trips to Italy from Israel are allowed without the need for motivation, even for tourism.
Please note that a negative test may also be requested by airlines or transit authorities for vaccinated or recovered travelers. It is therefore recommended to carefully check the regulations of airlines and third countries before departure.
Have a good trip!
