Deadline extended until 30 September 2021 for the compulsory use of SPID or CIE credentials in order to access Public Administration online services.

We inform that the deadline from which only SPID credentials (Public Digital Identity System) or the electronic identity card (CIE) will be necessary to access online services provided by the Public Administration has been extended until 30 September 2021.
Users already holding credentials for access to IT portals will be able to use them until 31 December 2021.
In order to request SPID credentials it is necessary to be an adult Italian citizen, have a valid Italian identity document, an Italian tax code, an e-mail address and a mobile number.
