Israeli Criminal Record Certificate

The Israeli criminal record certificate must be requested in a bilingual format by applying online on the Israeli Police website. Once requested, the certificate usually is available at the Embassy after four weeks from the date of application and must be picked up for legalization at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem (apostille) and translated into Italian.

If you are abroad, the criminal record certificate will be sent to the Embassies of the State of Israel already stamped with an apostille. For information, contact the Israeli Embassy in Rome or the nearest one.

PLEASE NOTE:

The criminal record certificate must be collected by the person named on the certificate. Records will not be released to third parties unless the certificate holder personally comes to the Embassy to issue a formal authorization for its release to a designated person. In this case, please contact us to schedule an appointment.
