The Embassy of Italy in Tel Aviv celebrates the VIII edition of the Italian Design Day. This year’s edition, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, is devoted to “Manufacturing values, inclusiveness, innovation and sustainability”.
On March 14, the Embassy in collaboration with the Italy-Israel Chamber of Commerce and showroom Klein’s will host an event which will be dedicated to Italian Design as an occasion to promote excellence in the fields of furniture, architecture, Italian design in Israel. After the opening remarks, a conversation will follow among renowned architects Ayelet Tibon from Klein’s, Michal Kirali Nahum from Valcucine Kitchens, Paola Liani di Paritzki & Liani Architects, Yoav Messer from Yoav Messer Architects and Alessandro Molinari from Valcucine.
Italian Design Day 2024 aims to testify once more the quality of the Italian productive system which is also a driver of culture creation through items and services responding to the main problems faced today by the world such as inclusion and environment protection. Looking beyond shape and technology, Italian Design’s pieces create new relationships among people and are framed within a shared system of values at the global level.
This year’s Italian Design Day in Israel confirms also the bilateral trade between Italy and Israel in the Made In Italy design and furniture sectors. Italian Design Day related initiatives will represent an occasion to promote the role of design and creativity at the commercial and cultural level in the framework of the Italian-Israeli bilateral relations.
