The Consulate exercises some notarial functions provided for by our legislation exclusively in favor of Italian citizens who are in Israel permanently or temporarily. Notarial acts carried out at the Consulate are valid exclusively in the territory of the Italian Republic and in the Italian diplomatic-consular representations.
In order to be able to enforce in Italy, the notarial acts of an Israeli notary must be legalized with the Apostille affixed by the notary himself. For more information on how to obtain an Apostille, click here.
If you need a notarial acts to be enforced in Israel or in third countries, you will need to contact a public notary officially accredited in Israel (you can consult here a list of notaries and lawyers).
For more information or to request an appointment, you can write to us at consolato.telaviv@esteri.it.
